I just wrote a massive news journal for two hours and accidentally X'd out the tab right when I was done so eff that and pardon me for being unprofessional or whatever I'M TIRED.


ANYWAYS.........................


We're making fast progress on the DR 2.0 re-write, and I thought you'd guys like to know that we're almost to the point we are with the current existing version of the site. Once we get to that point, it'll just be a matter of adding RP section, DRadio, Clubs, Shops, and all those other features up there on the ^navigation bar^. So we'll pretty much be done with the whole site when this re-write is up..! YES. The only thing that might not be done completely is the Drawrboard. It'll get done, just possibly not in time for the opening of the re-write.

Once the re-write is up,everything will be COMPLETELY WIPED as most of you know. So keep saving all of your stuff. It won't be there anymore soon. Artwork, Journals, Comments, even the Accounts themselves. All of it. It's a completely new site, with completely new code, in a completely new language. So there's not anything we can really do about that. :C
When the time comes, you'll all be getting your own personal Beta Codes via PMs or Skype so you can re-sign up to the new site SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT. Also the new site is going to have an invite system. So when you sign up, you'll get a number of invites to invite friends with. So you don't have to ask us anymore haha.

We will be staying in Beta for a while still after the new site is up. Just to make sure there aren't any bugs, and build up a bit more of a userbase and content before our full release!

I think you'll also like to know that

Our estimated date of completion is: May 1st

That's what we're shooting for, but we may be done in April or late May. We have no way of really being 100% sure. But that's our guess.

We also plan on advertising more at conventions and art shows etc once the re-write is up!
We made these fliers to give out to people in Artist Alleys and whatnot.
You can't read them because my camera is garbage but um they LOOK COOL and uh come with FREE BUTTONS...!

Now as for the Help Wanted thing..

We need some people interested in being Radio DJs or hosts or whatever for DRadio!
Since that is one of those ^navigation bar^ features we need to be working on for the re-write, we need to figure out what we're doing with that.

I'd like us to actually get a schedule together, record some soundclips, get some music, plan some different segments with some different users, and all that jazz. Then we'll actually create the page to be used for it.

So if you're interested in doing a segment of your own, or just contributing, PM me! or Skype me!
It can be a music block, interviews, art related news, maybe even an educational learn-how-to-do-stuff thing iduno, run ideas by me if you got 'em!


and one more thing! I wanted to personally thank you guys for sticking around on here. We've been completely ignoring the existing site due to the re-write, and I know you guys haven't been able to see any of the work we've been doing or any real evidence of progress for a while because of it. Not to mention unfixed bugs and errors. I know it's got to be frustrating or even disappointing. But I can promise you, me and Josh have been working nonstop I don't think I've put real clothes on for four maybe possibly five days... and I haven't been outside for weeks.. and we've been updating our Facebook and Twitter pages at a pretty regular, almost daily rate now so... if you guys want, you can pretty much see what we're working on at any given moment from there..!
